Privacy Policy
ColorVu is a camera app that applies color filters to photos you take or choose.
This Privacy Policy explains how information is processed when you use ColorVu on iPhone.
1. Information ColorVu Uses
ColorVu may process:
- Camera frames and photos you capture or select, so filters can be applied on your device
- Photos you choose from your library when you open the album or crop a photo
- Your device location, only when you allow it and choose to add a shooting location to a photo you save
- Settings you choose on the device, such as filter order and save preferences
ColorVu does not require a ColorVu account.
ColorVu does not ask for your name, email address, or contacts.
2. Camera and Photo Library
ColorVu uses the camera to show a live preview and to capture photos when you take a shot. Filter processing runs on your device.
ColorVu accesses your photo library only when you choose a photo to edit, or when you save a photo to Photos. Content you do not select is not accessed.
ColorVu does not upload your photos to Broong servers for filtering, storage, or analysis.
3. Location
If you turn on adding a shooting location when saving a photo, ColorVu may request your location while the app is in use so that location can be written into that photo’s metadata.
That location stays in the photo you save. ColorVu does not keep a separate location history, and it does not send location to Broong or to advertising networks.
You can decline location access or leave the option off. ColorVu does not use location for advertising or sell it.
4. On-Device Processing
Filters and the camera preview are processed on your device. ColorVu does not send your photos or camera frames to a Broong server or to a third-party AI service for filtering.
5. Analytics and Advertising
ColorVu does not use third-party advertising SDKs and does not collect behavioral analytics for advertising or user profiling.
ColorVu does not engage in cross-app tracking for advertising purposes.
The app may show a small in-app notice for Broong’s other apps. That notice is not based on a profile of your activity.
6. Purchases
If ColorVu offers paid features, those purchases are processed by Apple.
ColorVu does not receive or store your full payment card information. Apple may provide ColorVu with limited purchase status information needed to unlock paid features and restore purchases.
7. Data Sharing
ColorVu does not sell your personal information.
Information is disclosed only as needed to:
- Save photos you choose to your Photos library through Apple’s photo APIs
- Process purchases through Apple, when applicable
- Comply with applicable law or protect the security of the service
Opening Broong.com or this Privacy Policy from the app uses your device’s browser or system link handling. Broong’s website is separate from on-device photo processing.
8. Data Retention and Deletion
Photos you save are stored in your Photos library under your control. Settings such as filter order remain on your device until you change them or delete the app.
Deleting the app removes ColorVu’s on-device settings, subject to your device backups. Photos already saved to Photos remain until you delete them there.
9. Children
ColorVu is not specifically directed to children.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when ColorVu’s features or data practices change.
The version and last updated date at the top of this page will be revised when material changes are made.
